Re: Balancing Pool Consumer Allocation 2002

In keeping with the Balancing Pool Allocation Regulation, each year the Balancing Pool is required to determine whether any excess or shortfall of funds in the Balancing Pool account be allocated to, or provided by, electricity consumers. We are advising that there will neither be a consumer charge collected nor a rebate paid in 2002.

We have forecast our cash requirements and financial position for 2002 and expect that the Balancing Pool will be in a neutral funding position. The allocation will be reviewed again in 2002, for the 2003 consumption year.
